Richie Ranno All Stars To Play At Pawling's "Music By The Lake" Free Summer Concerts On Saturday, August 17
The Richie Ranno All Stars make their first appearance at Music By The Lake on August 17. The band is led by guitarist/vocalist Richie Ranno, formerly a member of the band "Stories" who had a number one hit with the song "Brother Louie". Richie went on to form the band "Starz", who had a hit with "Cherry Baby" and opened up for Kiss, ZZ Top, the Eagles, Aerosmith and others. Also featured is guitarist/vocalist Chris Palmerini, who has previously appeared at Music By The Lake as a member of the Annie Mash Trio and has played with The Monkees, Keith Emerson, Mick Taylor, Pete Best and others. Bassist Chris Tristram has toured with the band Great White. Rounding out the band is drummer Frank Colonato who regularly performs throughout the tri-state area. The All Stars cover a wide variety of their favorite songs highlighted by the dueling guitar solos of Ranno and Palmerini.
"Music By The Lake" concerts are held on Saturdays at 6:00pm at the Pavilion at Lakeside Park. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in the adjoining Lathrop building at Lakeside Park. As always, all concerts are FREE!
